Additional Information:

Mimi is originally from Seattle, Washington where she spent 12 years as a competitive gymnast, participating in state and regional competitions.  Currently, she is working towards a Masters degree in Health Education at Columbia University Teachers College to continue promoting healthy living and preventative health through exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle management.  Mimi has participated in a variety of fundraising events for the American Heart Association in the 5K American Heart Walk and Mountains to Sound 100 mile race to help preserve the greenway in Washington.    Mimi also has experience as an Exercise Specialist in the rehabilitation setting and has worked with a wide range of populations, as well as with athletes of various ages in competitive sports.  Her experience and background in science-based education has helped her in understanding and execution of biomechanically sound exercise and core stabilization in functional workouts.
