Amy Lessler, CPT

Amy is originally from Westport, Connecticut. She first cultivated an interest in pursuing a career in fitness while working towards her bachelor’s degree at American University in Washington, D.C. She served as a member of the floor staff at the university gym and witnessed first-hand the benefits of exercise. After AU, Amy enrolled in the American Academy of Personal Training (AAPT) and graduated with a diploma and certification in March 2010. She went on to join Equinox as a Tier 2 Personal Trainer and has since helped countless clients set, attain, and surpass their individual fitness goals. Amy’s programs encourage balance, consistency, setting and attaining short and long term goals, and progressing fitness levels. She is skilled in developing training regimens that are equally as exciting as they are effective and appropriate. She strives to keep her clients motivated, working hard, and ready for their next challenge. Improving the health of our nation has always been important to Amy, who believes she can best contribute to this cause by working with people on an individual basis and helping them take better care of their own bodies. In addition to being a career personal trainer, Amy is a devoted runner and is currently training for a half marathon in her spare time.
