Curtis is originally from the Los Angeles, California area. He studied Health, Anatomy and Kinesiology at Pierce College and went on to major in Business at the University of Southern California. His background in these areas encouraged him to pursue a career as a personal trainer. Curtis trained privately as well as at a large gym between Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles for several years before making the move across country to New York City. Over the years, he has worked with all types of clients, from young to old, small to obese, and those with disabilities or physical hindrances. He specializes in helping people with rehabilitation needs and those who suffer from diseases such as arthritis and osteoarthritis. Curtis is highly skilled at developing exciting, results-oriented training programs that cater to each client’s individual needs and abilities. He has taken years of anatomy courses as well as sports science and medicine classes to further his health and fitness education. Curtis also aspires to earn his Pilates teacher certification within the next six months to further his opportunities within the fitness industry.
