Born in India and raised in a spiritual household in Rhode Island, Shaffali has always felt infinitely connected to her roots. In addition to a Bachelors degree in Business from Boston University, she received her Yoga Teacher Training Certification from Yoga Vidya Dham, a beautiful and peaceful Ashram in India that is renowned for its classical teachings of Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga. Shaffali was drawn to wellness from an early age and has been practicing yoga for over a decade now. She has worked in the Spa, Yoga and Wellness Industry for the past seven years, holding various positions in Boston, London and California. Her unique yoga sessions emphasize movement, meditation and the mind, body, breath and soul connection, which she encourages each of her clients to fully understand and appreciate. According to Shaffali, "Through this embrace and awareness, we can become more conscious of every aspect of our lives, in both the microcosm (our being) and macrocosm (the universe), leading us to our highest potential, and in essence, our highest self." She uses a combination of soothing music, her own intuition and the positive energy generated by her clients to foster an organic and peaceful environment for each session. Along with teaching yoga, Shaffali recently launched her own company, Shaffali International (www.shaffali.com), which provides exclusive brands for the wellness-minded individual.
