Adina R.

FPTI

Born in New Jersey, Adina was active in athletics all of her life.  She went to a small high school where the athletes had the opportunity to play on many teams, allowing her to play hockey, softball, volleyball and basketball competitively for four years.  After studying psychology and art in college, Adina continued her fitness journey by attending the Focus Personal Training Institute and completing the 700-hour Master course.
Adina began working at Focus Integrated Fitness part-time as she pursued her graduate studies at the School of Visual Arts for Art Therapy.  During this time, Adina worked in an inpatient psychiatric rehabilitation program and began to solidify her interests in mind-body connections and their contributions to human well-being and behavior modification.
Adina hopes to continue researching the impact that the physical state of a body has on an individual’s mental health.  She is a powerlifter and firmly believes that in her own life, her strong body has contributed to her strong mind.  Adina brings her skillset as a therapist to her work with clients, allowing her to be very in tune with the needs of an individual in a session and the proper way to support her clients in achieving the goals that they set forth for themselves.
