Shara is originally from Minnesota but moved to New York City to attend the Focus Personal Training Institute, and further her education and work in the health and fitness industry. She has been a dancer since the age of three and found her passion for fitness when she lost 60 lbs. due to a healthy lifestyle change that facilitated her dancing. After her transformation, Shara created a fitness Instagram account to motivate and inspire individuals around the world. She now has nearly 30,000 followers on her page and was listed by POPSUGAR Fitness as one of the “Top 33 Healthy and Inspiring Women to Follow” on Instagram. 

 

Through FPTI’s rigorous 700-hour Master Course program, where she excelled at the top of her class, Shara learned the kinesiology, anatomy and behavioral concepts needed to effectively guide her clients to achieve their goals. She also completed her internship at Focus Integrated Fitness, where she received hands-on training with clients in one-on-one sessions and in Focus’s group fitness class, PT6, to mold her into a well-rounded trainer.

 

Shara views life as a journey. She believes there is always room for growth toward becoming the best version of one’s self. Her mission is to inspire her clients to focus on their journeys and to become the best version of themselves through living a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
