Elena T.

FPTI

Born and raised in Russia, Elena first came to New York City in 2007. It was not love at first sight, but now she can't imagine living anywhere else.

While pursuing her MA in English from Brooklyn College, she began to experience the side effects of an unhealthy lifestyle. She started gaining weight, felt constantly stressed out and was chronically sleep deprived. She wasn't happy with how she looked or felt. After looking at herself in the mirror one night and not liking the reflection, Elena decided to change her life. She did this by hitting the gym hard.

As her overall health improved, Elena developed a newfound passion for teaching others the benefits of physical fitness. She decided to attend the Personal Training Foundations program at Focus Personal Training Institute. Elena is also currently pursuing her NASM certification and is CPR/AED-certified. She participated in the Foam Rolling Sore and Tight Muscles Course at Hofstra University, and received a certification in training the pregnant and postpartum client.

For Elena, exercise is a universal remedy for many physical and mental ailments. She wants to share her knowledge and passion for physical fitness with her clients. Her ultimate goal is to encourage her clients to love themselves. After all, everyone deserves a healthy body and happy life.
