Leah B.

FPTI, ACSM-CPT, Registered Dietitian (RDN)

Leah was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her fascination with health and nutrition started at a very early age. She was an active athlete in several sports as a child, but still struggled with her weight. She also witnessed her family members suffer with their own weight-related health issues.

At the age of 13, Leah realized that she needed to make dramatic changes in order to improve her life. She began exercising and learning about nutrition. Over time, she realized this was her calling. Leah received her B.S. in Dietetics from Eastern Kentucky University and pursued becoming a Registered Dietitian. She went on to practice in a variety of clinical settings over the next eight years including oncology, adult and child weight management, and pediatric gastroenterology.

Throughout her experience, Leah found she often treated patients with chronic diseases that were preventable with healthy lifestyle choices. Her ultimate goal shifted to helping others realize their full potential and avoid serious illness.

Leah made the move to NYC in 2019 and completed the Personal Training Master Course at FPTI. Leah is especially interested in the science behind health and fitness and using evidence-based practice to educate her clients. She is passionate about helping others build healthy lifestyles they can maintain for a lifetime.
